$ 1Abrokaw.jpgMSNBC TV viewer ratings have gotten so abysmal that anchor Tom Brokaw is interrupting live On Air broadcasts to inform his wife that he will buy some milk.

According to the Daily Caller, "Tom Brokaw may have ceded his job as the Nightly News anchor almost a decade ago, but he sure knows how to make some noise come election night."

Brokaw is quoted as saying that, “Yes, I will remember to bring home the milk. Don’t worry about it…and I’ll feed the dog in the morning. It’s going to be okay.”

As reported by the Daily Caller, "While discussing Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s reelection victory, Brokaw’s phone alarm went off to his apparent WARNING siren/ringtone/alarm. Brokaw let the alarm go off for nearly 10 seconds before reaching into his pocket sheepishly to turn it off."

Tom Bokaw retired as anchor for NBC Nightly News over 10 years ago.
