Teachers Slam Jeb Bush for Common Core

$ 1Bamacore.jpg59 percent of teachers polled say they do not trust Jeb Bush's Common Core education initiatives.

According to the Daily Caller, "One day after a poll showing that a plurality of parents split opinions on Common Core, another survey by Gallup shows public school teachers are having major doubts about the new multistate education standards as well."

Jeb Bush continues to champion Common Core nonetheless.

As reported by the Daily Caller, "Only 41 percent of teachers view Common Core very or somewhat positively, according to Gallup’s survey. That’s less than the 44 percent who view it very or somewhat negatively (16 percent have no opinion). After accounting for the margin of error, the poll essentially measures a tie between supporters and opponents of the standards."

Teachers mostly complained that Common Core is "unrealistic."
