When Sen. Mark Udall (D.-Co.) was asked by a Denver TV reporter: What are his three favorite books? He could not answer the softball question and responded, "I'm brain dead today."

The Daily Caller reports that, "Colorado U.S. Sen. Mark Udall was unable to name the three books that have influenced him the most in his life during a television interview so he asked for a redo."

Sen. Udall is quoted as saying that, “Let me think. We can play this over, right? Let me re-tape this.”

According to the Daily Caller, "The awkward moment came Friday in an interview with Denver’s ABC affiliate. Udall, a Democrat, is locked in a close race against Republican congressman Cory Gardner."

Needless to say, Mark Udall did not mention the Bible as having any impact on his life.
