Turkey Launches War on Syria

Achievements Turkey.jpgTurkey has just launched a full-scale war on the government of Syria with vocal support from U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The Turkish government has lobbed missiles at Syria. Some Middle East experts are wondering if Israel will exploit the ensuing chaos to attack Iran.

According to Fox News, “Turkish artillery fired on Syrian targets Wednesday after shelling from Syria struck a border village in Turkey, killing five civilians, sharply escalating tensions between the two neighbors and prompting NATO to convene an emergency meeting.”

A statement from the Turkish prime minister’s office said, “our armed forces at the border region responded to this atrocious attack with artillery fire on points in Syria that were detected with radar, in line with the rules of engagement.”

As reported by Fox News, “the artillery fire capped a day that began with four bombs tearing through a government-held district in Syria’s commercial and cultural capital of Aleppo, killing more than 30 people and reducing buildings to rubble.”

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Edrogan of Turkey said in a statement that, “Turkey, acting within the rules of engagement and international laws, will never leave unreciprocated such provocations by the Syrian regime against our national security.”

It's about damn time somebody told the truth -- a few mortars allegedly fired from the Syria side killed several Turks. Why would the Syrians deliberately target Turks with mortars instead of artillery or jets bombing? It screams 'false flag' by the Turks and their NATO backers who want to fight Syria to the last Turk.
