Ex-Texas EPA Czar Still Crucifying Energy Companies

Al Coal.jpgDespite Al Armendariz losing his job as the Texas EPA czar for endorsing the crucifixion of energy companies, he continues to terrorize his foes, Texas workers and the Lone Star state’s business community.

The Houston Chronicle reports that, ‘a former Environmental Protection Agency administrator who resigned after using the word ‘crucify’ to describe his approach to violators says recent court decisions striking down federal pollution rules are delaying the inevitable.”

Armendariz contends that if President Barack Obama is re-elected, he will feel emboldened to appoint judges that endorse stricter EPA regulations. Accordingly, all electricity consumers can anticipate more rolling blackout and higher electricity prices if Obama gets a second term in office.

But here’s the really bad news, Armendariz stands a good chance of regaining his commission as Texas EPA czar.

According to the Houston Chronicle, “Al Armendariz, who was the Obama administration’s top environmental official in the oil-rich south before resigning in April under pressure from Republicans, says the EPA will simply rewrite and reapply cross-state air pollution rules on coal plant emissions. The state has sued the EPA on those issues, and some Texas politicians regarded recent court decisions opposing EPA actions as major victories.”

Ever get the feeling there are just too many incompetent people woven in the fabric of societies need for sound, principled, intelligent judgement in favor of public service?

Whatever happened to "the majoriety rules" portion we learned many years ago in high school civics classes? This is crazy for this Communist as well as his recently-named successor should create such havoc with just normal living such as reasonable electrical rates, natural gas production, & coal-powered energy plants by such Leftist tactics of an governmental agency that is pledged to restrict our quality of life!
