Thai MP Shoots and Kills His Secretary

AK Thai.jpgA member of the Thailand Parliament stands accused of negligent homicide for bringing a loaded machine gun to a restaurant where he accidentally shot and killed his secretary. Thai MP Boonsoong Kowawisarat faces charges.

BBC News reports that, “police in Thailand say that they will charge a member of the Thai Parliament with causing death by negligence for accidentally shooting his secretary dead with a submachine gun.”

The incident occurred in a restaurant on Sunday evening.

According to the BBC News, “Senator Boonsoong Kowawisarat took out a 9mm Uzi submachine gun while waiting for food, the Bangkok Post reported.”

He confessed to police that the gun accidentally discharged and his secretary was shot in the stomach.
