Tea Party Endorses Rubio for VP

The nation’s largest tea party organization has endorsed Sen. Marco Rubio (R.-Fl.) as the preferred GOP presidential nominee in a survey announced on Wednesday.

Politico reports that, “Rubio was rated a ‘strong’ candidate by 66 percent of voters, well ahead of Paul Ryan (49.9 percent), Allen West (46.8 percent), Rick Santorum (44 percent), Sarah Palin (41 percent), Michelle Bachmann (40.9 percent) and Scott Walker (39.8 percent).

In a statement, Tea Party Express Chairman Andy Kremer, said, “it is not a big surprise that Marco Rubio is the favorite candidate of the tea party for the vice presidential nod. The only surprise is that he led the other excellent candidates by such a wide margin.”

According to Politico, “Rubio told ABC News that he’s ‘always honored by my association with the tea party.’”

The New York Times inaccurately reported that Romney intends to announce his VP pick this week.. Yet, Romney’s responded, “we’re not quite there yet.”

It's just beyond my comprehension; why does the TEA party want Obama reelected? They know that Rubio's parents weren't U.S. citizens when he was born and that he is a 14th Amendment 'naturalized' citizen rather than a 'natural born citizen' as required by the Constitution. Millions upon millions of patriotic Americans will stay home or vote third party if the GOP ticket contains an ineligible candidate.

So, again, why does the TEA party want to put an ineligible candidate on the ballot and throw the election to Obama?

I don't get it? Why would " nation’s largest tea party organization" want to see Obama get reelected in November? That's what will happen if Marco Rubio (or Bobby Jindal) get the Veep nod from Romney.

Both men were born on U.S. soil so they are 14th Amendment (naturalized) citizens but their parents were not U.S. citizens so they are NOT 'natural born citizens'.

Millions upon millions of patriotic American voters will either vote third party or simply stay home if the GOP/RNC allows an ineligible candidate on the ballot.

The TEA Party should not be helping Scott Walker any more. In Wisconsin Scott Walker has been campaigning against TEA Party candidates challenging RINO's in the Republican Primary. The TEA Party got him elected, saved him during a recall election and this is how he repays us, by working to keep out candidates out of office in favor of career politicians.
