Command Performance of International Ballet and gala dinner, La Fête du Ballet

TITAS – Extraordinary Dance and Music – is a non-profit organization committed to presenting the best in American and International performing arts. On April 11th, 2009, TITAS presents its 15th annual Command Performance of International Ballet and gala dinner, La Fête du Ballet.

TITAS presents a spectacular evening of dance featuring some of the world’s most renowned international dance stars. This opportunity to see eight principal dancers from various international companies sharing the stage is a very rare and precious cultural event. As Julie Kent, Principal Dancer for American Ballet Theatre said, “The TITAS Command Performance Gala is among

the best ballet galas in the world today!” No other dance event in Texas rivals TITAS’ Command Performance as an opportunity to see the world’s best on one stage. It’s a tour-de-force, take-your-breath-away-performance-experience truly not to be missed!

Command Performance of International Ballet and La Fête du Ballet is the annual fundraiser that benefits all of TITAS’ programming.

ARTISTS: TITAS is committed to bringing the best of the dance world to Dallas. This year’s artistic roster includes Principal Dancers:
Drew Jacoby and Rubinald Pronk, Morphoses Dance Company;

Paloma Herrera and Marcelo Gomes, American Ballet Theatre;
Yuan Yuan Tan and Damian Smith, San Francisco Ballet;
Tyler Peck and Joaquin de Luz, New York City Ballet;
Linda Celeste Sims and Matthew Rushing, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

TITAS has also commissioned a new work with So You Think You Can Dance star Mia Michaels to be premiered at the performance and performed by Drew Jacoby and Rubinald Pronk, Morphoses Dance Company.

TICKET PRICES: Medici Benefit Ticket: $500: includes one Orchestra-I seat, Intermission Champagne Reception, La Fête du Ballet gala dinner invitation and a tax-deductible donation.

Orchestra Seats: $175.00, $80.00, $65.00, $45.00+

Balcony Seats: $80.00, $45.00, $20.00, $15.00+

+ Prices include a mandatory City of Dallas parking and preservation fee of $2.25.

Performance: Age 30-75+, though many families come; average income over $75,000; college educated, graduate degrees, upscale consumers of local and regional retail stores, restaurants and other service providers.

La Fête du Ballet Gala Dinner: Age 35-70+; average income over $100,000; college educated,

graduate degrees, upscale consumers of local, national, international retail, restaurants, etc.
