Rev. Sharpton 'Too Chicken' to Debate Dr. Carson Print E-mail
by Tom McGregor    Tue, Aug 19, 2014, 10:54 PM

Rev. Al Sharpton has chickened out from agreeing to a public debate with Dr. Ben Carson.

According to NewsMax, "Conservative commentator Dr. Ben Carson has challenged liberal TV host Al Sharpton to a public debate, with the Ferguson riots as a leading talking point. "I had an opportunity to speak with Rev. Sharpton a couple months ago at the White House Correspondents' Dinner," Carson told Fox News on Monday, according to Mediaite."

Dr. Carson is quoted as saying that, "We want the same kinds of things but we have very different approaches to achieving them. What do you think about a public debate to talk about the various ways that we can get this done?"

As reported by NewsMax, "Sharpton was "initially enthusiastic" about the challenge, but they have not yet scheduled a meeting, said Carson, a Fox News contributor. "But the offer still stands."

Rev. Al Sharpton is currently in Ferguson, Mo. to inflame violent riots on the streets.

As you can see Mr. Sharpton isn't half the man he used to be, and even when he was he wouldn't have been up to a debate or a civil discussion with anyone with half a brain surgeon, surely not a whole one. In New York we'd say "he hasn't got the guts" but in Sharpton's case there's a lot more missing. Ferguson is just the latest example of his kind of divisive, race-baiting, lie-mongering rhetoric that within a small minority of black American passes for leadership.

That figures that he'd not debate anyone who can talk over him with FACTS.
