|South Koreans Say 'Cheers' to Dog Wine|

Many South Koreans celebrate weddings by drinking dog wine, made out of canine flesh.
The Seoul Times reports that, "The $2 billion dollar-a-year South Korean dog and cat meat industry takes the lives of approximately two and a half million dogs a year for meat or gaesoju, a dog wine or broth, and thousands of despised and doomed cats for so-called “health” tonics or goyangyeesoju, and soup. It operates in a sordid and illicit world where farmers and butchers kill with frightening impunity in the most abominable fashion."
Eating dog meat and drinking dog wine are popular in South Korea.
According to the Seoul Times, "Dogs are killed by hanging and with high-voltage electrocution, which takes anywhere from thirty seconds to three minutes. At times they are even beaten to death at the request of customers who believe the meat more tender and tastier the greater the suffering (one of the most pernicious of myths), and that the so-called medicinal properties are enhanced."
Some South Korean dog butchers prefer to beat up dog before killing them to cook for meals.

This is so racist and very ignorant thing to say. As a Korean American who grew up in Texas, I am absolutely appalled and flabbergasted by this article. I don't know what kind of sick satisfaction you get for writing this type of article, but I will definitely make sure your ignorance, racist, and hate filled article gets around. Shame on you!
