by Tom McGregor    Tue, Jul 15, 2014, 09:57 PM

BMW has opened a massive driving center in Incheon, South Korea.

According to the Chosun Ilbo, "German carmaker BMW has built a test drive center on Yeongjong Island in Incheon -- its first in Asia. The W77-billion facility sprawls on the 240,000 sq.m site, the size of 33 football fields. It has a 2.6-km closed circuit racetrack as well as training academy, kids' area and showroom."

The German auto manufacturer has an R&D center in Incheon to test car engines.

As reported by the Chosun Ilbo, "Though an opening ceremony was held Monday, the center will open to the public in early August."

BMW is boosting its exports to the Asian market.
