Deutsche Bank Bets against Germany in World Cup Print E-mail
by Tom McGregor    Sun, Jul 13, 2014, 07:33 PM

The Germany soccer team and their loyal fans should consider boycotting German-based Deutsche Bank. German bankers brazenly picked England to win the World Cup Championship.

ECNS reports that, "Tech companies such as Baidu, Microsoft, Google and Yahoo, and investment banking firms such as Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank, all took their chances predicting 2014 World Cup games."

The England soccer team failed to qualify for the 2nd round, while Germany defeated all teams they played against to win the World Cup tournament.

According to ECNS, "Generally speaking, tech companies outperformed Wall Street investors. Baidu and Microsoft both correctly chose the four teams in the semifinals. Goldman Sachs erred in picking Spain to reach the final four, while Deutsche Bank even predicted that England would win the tournament."

Talk about lacking patriotism for their homeland, Deutsche Bank selected England, a major rival of Germany, to win the World Cup Championship.
