San Antonio strippers are threatening to keep their clothes on if they don't receive higher pay from strip clubs.
The Houston Chronicle reports that, "Dancers at a San Antonio strip club say $5 and $10 table dances just aren't cutting it anymore because they are forced to split the proceeds with other employees and the business."
Strippers contend that they deserve more money for doing lap dances for customers.
According to the Houston Chronicle, "That is one of the allegations in a federal lawsuit filed by current and former exotic dancers at Cabaret, who claim management of the Northwest Side establishment also denied them minimum and overtime wages, made them pay “house fees” from their tips and gouged them with fees when customers paid for dances with credit cards."
Soon, stippers may join a labor union organization.
