|India Draws Closer to Russia|

India is edging closer to Russia on major cooperation deals.
The Voice of Russia reports that, "Russia and India have signed a general framework agreement to build the third and fourth units of the Kudankulam nuclear power plant, Rosatom director-general has said, according to Itar-Tass."
Russia is helping India to build nuclear power plants.
According to the Voice of Russia, "India has approved a large-scale programme for developing nuclear power engineering. Till 2017 nineteen nuclear power plants’ units with the capacity of 17,400 MWt are planned to be built. Eight units will be constructed with the participation of other countries."
Nuke power is an alternative energy resource.
