Cops Ready for Obama Malaysia Trip Print E-mail
by Tom McGregor    Thu, Apr 24, 2014, 02:02 AM

Malaysian police officers are preparing to handle violent riots when President Barack Obama visits Malaysia this weekend.

The Star reports that, "Police are ready to welcome the maiden visit of United States president Barack Obama to Malaysia this Saturday."

Hundreds of thousands of Malaysian are expected to greet Obama.

According to the Star, "Bukit Aman Logistic chief Datuk Zulkifli Abdullah said on Thursday that the police have taken the necessary steps especially in terms of security for Obama's visit here."

It's been over 50 years since a sitting US President visited Malayia. Meanwhile, allegations are swirling that the NSA built a spy stellite station on Penang Hill in Georgetown in Penang, Malaysia.

UPDATE:

The Dallas Blog's original article was intended to be a posting about allegations that the NSA built a spy satellite station on Penang Hill. A Georgetown taxi driver claimed that his brother earned "big bucks" from NSA for designing the facility. However, unexplained technical difficulties prevented the article from getting posted.
