Canadian Winter Olympic athletes have been forbidden to speak to reporters during the Sochi Games in Russia.
Pravda reports that, "The administration of the Canadian hockey team cancelled all official press conferences in Sochi, the Olympic News Service reports."
Canadian athletes fear tough questions from reporters could distract them from winning more medals.
According to Pravda, "At first it was reported that team Canada was going to cancel the press conference of head coach Mike Babcock, which was scheduled for today, February 12. The conference was supposed to take place prior to team training."
No word yet on whether the press conference ban also applies to Canadian-born pop singer, Justin Bieber.
