Former S. Korean President Roh 'Crazy,' Says Gates Print E-mail
by Tom McGregor    Tue, Jan 14, 2014, 08:42 PM

Former US Defense Secretary Robert Gates has just published his memoir, 'Duty.' He described the ex South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun as "crazy." Roh was elected into power on an anti-American and anti-Japanese platform.

The Korea Herald reports that, "Reading a new memoir by former U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates, South Koreans may be quite surprised by his characterization of the country's late President Roh Moo-hyun as "a little crazy."

Reportedly, President Roh demanded that US diplomats treat Japan as a "hostile nation."

According to the Korea Herald, "He calls Roh "anti-American and probably a little crazy." Roh was quoted as telling Gates that "the biggest security threats in Asia were the United States and Japan."

Nevertheless, Gates praised Roh's successor, Lee Myung-bak, as "tough-minded, realistic and very pro-American."

I'm Korean and am not surprised at all. The guy was an idiot that failed the bar 10 times and was too naive to be a president, naive enough to be borderline Marxist whether he knew it or not.
