Princess Infanta Cristina of Spain Faces Money Laundering Charges Print E-mail

The government of Spain alleges that Spanish Princess Infanta Cristina, the daughter of King Juan Carlos, is a notorious tax dodger and embezzler.

The BBC News reports that, "A Spanish judge has summoned the youngest daughter of King Juan Carlos to appear in court over accusations of fraud and money-laundering."

The Princess is expected to appear in court on March 8.

According to the BBC, "The Infanta Cristina, 48, has been linked to the business affairs of her husband, Inaki Urdangarin, who is being investigated for alleged embezzlement."

Palma de Mallorca court judge Jose Castro is preparing to throw the book at Princess Infanta Cristina.
