BEIJING: Mirror, mirror on the wall who deserves recognition as the homosexual rights' icon of them all? While Americans can boast that Ethan Krupp, who is recognized as Pajama Boy for his ObamaCare OFA marketing campaign, should win top honors, the Chinese media would disagree. They contend that two British expats living in Beijing should become the new poster boys for the global LGBT community. They are Rob Helmsley and Stuart Wiggins, who call themselves the 'Panda Boys.'
China Radio International reports that, "Foxes and pandas aren't known for having much in common-until now. "The Panda" , a spoof music video from the team behind comedy news show on CRIENGLISH.com, has recently taken the Web by storm in China."
Rob Helmsley, no relation to hotel heiress Leona Helmsley, is quoted as saying that, "Our producer, Wu Tong, really loved the Ylvis track, "We were sitting rather close together." He was referring to his partner Stu, while filming the video clip.
According to China Radio international, "Based on Norwegian mega-hit The Fox by Ylvis, this version features C4 hosts Rob Hemsley and Stuart Wiggin dressed in panda suits, dancing in a bamboo forest, and singing humorous new lyrics to the original tune."
The Panda Boys video has captured over millions of views from their Chinese gay-friendly fans.
