The GOP's Establishment war on the Tea Party has turned so divisive that a Political Action Committee, (PAC) with strong links to Sen. John Cornyn (R.-Tx.) is giving $5,000 donations to Democrat candidates who are fighting Tea Party Republicans in the general elections.
Sen. John Warner (R.-Va.) had donated to Democrat Michelle Nunn's bid for Senate in Georgia.
According to Breitbart News, "Former Republican Senator Richard Lugar’s leadership political action committee, The 19th Star PAC, sent $5,000 on Dec. 12 to Democrat Michelle Nunn, who will face the winner of the Republican primary for Saxby Chambliss's seat. Chambliss, a Republican, is retiring."
Lugar's PAC is a generous contributor to Sen. John Cornyn's campaign war chest.
