Crayon Pop, an all-girls KPop band, is not only seeking to cash in on their new found fame, but they encourage global 'Helmet Safety Awareness' for their millions of fans.
ABC News reports that, "The Korean music industry has been dominated lately by tons of group singers, both men and women, who perform with either sex appeal or lovable cutesy images. But one rookie “girl group” called Crayon Pop is bucking the trend with a completely flipped image: unique, quirky and to some extent bizarre."
They have captured the hearts and minds of global audiences with their YouTube hit song, "Bar, Bar, Bar."
According to ABC News, "The women, all in their 20s, stand out just by their wacky fashion: vividly colored polo shirts buttoned up to the neck, trainer pants topped with a pleated miniskirt, white gloves and a big motorcycle helmet."
Crayon Pop band members say that they perform some hip dance routines on stage so helmets can keep them healthy in case of injury.
