Ed Miliband, the leader of Great Britain's Labor Party, loves to live a lavish lifestyle that is funded by British taxpayers. And when he feels hot under the collar, he heads for a stay in the four-star Arctic Hotel in Greenland.
According to the Daily Telegraph of London, "Ed Miliband accused of "champagne socialism" by Tories as bills released under Freedom of Information show spending in Labour leader's last year in government."
Bob Neill, vice chairman of the Conservative Party, is quoted as saying that, "Like all good champaign socialists, the Labor Leader has no respect for the public purse."
According to the Telegraph, "Ed Miliband’s ministerial team spent thousands of pounds on luxury car hire and hotels while he was in power. Mr Miliband’s office spent £125,000 on accommodation using a government credit card during his last nine months as energy secretary. It included £590 at the four-star Arctic Hotel in Greenland."
Miliband also enjoyed luxury vacations to Bali, Mexico and Marcelona on the taxpayers' dime.
