|Texas Flu Pandemic Kills 6 in Houston|

The deadly Texas Flu virus has killed 6 Texans in the Houston area. State officials are alerting residents of the Lone Star State to take necessary precautions to avoid getting struck down by the Texas Flu bug.
Xinhua News Agency reports that, "Texas issued a statewide flu alert Friday as more confirmed cases of H1N1 virus were reported. In the alert, the state health department urged all Texans over the age of six months to get a flu vaccine."
More than a dozen people are critically ill from the Texas Flu and the virus is spreading all over the state.
According to Xinhua, "At least three people in Harris County have died of the H1N1 virus, officials with the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences told reporters. Houston, the fourth largest city of the U.S., is the county seat."
Houston area hospitals are reporting that emergency room visits for patients with flu-like symptoms has reached a five-year high.
