Ukraine To Ban Foreigners from its Territory Print E-mail
by Tom McGregor    Wed, Dec 25, 2013, 09:20 PM

The Ukrainian government has temporarily forbidden foreigners, such as Sen. John McCain, (R.-Az.) from returning to Kiev to enflame more anti-government protests.

According to RT, "Ukraine has temporarily banned a number of foreign citizens from entering its territory over “national security” concerns. The move comes amid ongoing mass rallies, with thousands of pro-EU demonstrators demanding the government’s resignation."

Oleg Tsaryov, a Ukrainian lawmaker, is quoted as saying that, "the more frequent visits by political strategists and specialists in protests cause quite reasonable concerns."

As reported by RT, "The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) said that in November-December 2013, in accordance with the law and “in the interests of ensuring Ukraine's national security,” it made the decision to “temporarily ban” a number of foreign nationals from entering the country."

US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland was observed on December 11 handing out cookies to demonstrators as she was joined in her efforts by Sen. John McCain.

Why would you republish garbage propaganda from RT (Russia Today) about Ukraine. The Russian press is not a free press at all. It is totally controlled by Putin and his Kremlin cronies. Russia Today is owned and operated by the Russian government and is complete propaganda. Russia had lead an information war against Ukraine for many years and anything their press write about Ukraine is complete propaganda. If you want to learn anything about Ukraine, try reading the Ukrainian press which still has some independent news sources. You wouldn't get your news about the United States by reading the Cuban press, would you? So, why would you get your news about Ukraine from the Russian press??
