The largest pro-abortion charity, BPAS, in the United Kingdom has launched a global campaign to encourage would-be parents to abort their female fetuses. They contend that this is an effective approach to win the War on Women.
The Daily Telegraph of London reports that, "The chief executive of Britain's biggest abortion charity has said women are legally free to arrange an abortion because they are unhappy with the sex of their unborn baby."
Furedi is quoted as saying that, "there is no legal requirement to deny a woman an abortion if she has a sex preference, providing that the legal grounds are met."
According to the Telegraph, "Ann Furedi, of BPAS, said the law does not prevent women from choosing a termination on the grounds of gender and she even compared it to abortion after rape."
Furedi added, "the law is silent on gender selection, just as it is silent on rape."
