GFK, the largest global market research institute in Germany, has conducted an international survey to determine which country has the laziest workers. France easily won the contest.
China Radio International reports that, "The employees from France are considered to be the laziest people in the world, according to the survey."
French workers have taken tremendous pride in their laziness. A year ago, the CEO of Michellin mocked French workers as lazy, and the French responded that they deem it their patriotic duty to act lazy.
According to China Radio International, "French employees, on the other hand, seem to be aware of their limitations and many of those surveyed placed France in last place."
Meanwhile, the French government may soon impose a 75% income tax on all workers, which is another government initiative to encourage laziness.
