The Israeli government is taking the initiative to prepare 'pre-emptive strike measures' against enemy countries in the Middle East.
According to China Radio International, "Israel's security establishment has drawn up a new defense doctrine, as the country's political actors are increasingly expressing worry over the welfare of the Jewish state in the region, The Jerusalem Post reported Monday."
An Israeli military source is quoted as saying that, "One can not say that there is a front and a home front. The enemy sees the home front as the front in every way."
As reported by China Radio International, "The daily, citing senior military sources, said that the six- layered doctrine, devised by the Defense Ministry, the Home Front Command and the general staff of the army, aims to provide better responses to the threat of rockets and missiles in wartime."
Israeli officials are expressing growing concerns that US President Barack Obama is unwilling to protect Israel if an enemy nation attacks them.
