Joe 'Gaffe-a-Minute' Biden demands that everyone show him respect, including Pope Francis. However, his refusal raises another question: should pro-partial-birth abortion politicians kiss the papal ring? According to CBS News, "Joe Biden doesn’t kiss up to anyone – whether a queen or a pope. The vice president told a gathering of Irish-Americans in New York City on Thursday that as a young U.S. senator he was to meet the queen of England." Biden claims he was following his mother's advice, when she demanded he not kiss the queen's ring. His dad told him to never kiss the papal ring, because he descended from "struggling Irish immigrants." As reported by CBS News, "Biden says his mother told him that no one is 'better' than him. And while Biden should treat everyone with respect, his mother said her son should also 'demand respect.'" The Dallas Blog is not making the story up, when it says that Vice President Joe Biden believes his so-called "dignity" is more important than kissing Pope Francis' papal ring. Biden contends that he's 'too dignified' to bow down to anyone, although he does that every day when he greets President Barack Obama in the White House.
