Sen. John McCain (R.-Ar.) slammed Sen. Rand Paul (R.-Ky.) as "crazy" for claiming that President Barack Obama might authorize drone strikes on U.S. citizens on American territory. Nonetheless, the Leftist mainstream media has just disclosed that Obama has requested the FAA (Federal Aviation Authority) conduct a study on how drones would impact 'American airspace.'
The Houston Chronicle reports that, "the major roadblock for AVSUI (Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, the nation’s largest trade group for drones), is lack of regulatory structure. The government asked the FAA to evaluate the risk of drones over U.S. skies, but it has yet to do so."
GE Corp. is a major manufacturer of drones that are equipped as killing machines, and it now claims that more drones means more jobs for Americans.
