The FBI can gain the upper-hand on its investigations of Dallas Country District Attorney Craig Watkins and Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price, who are both prominent Democrats.
Rumors have been swirling that the two African-American politicians feel jealous of each other and now that both are under investigation, it could be time for one or the other to commit an act of betrayal.
According to CBS News 11 Dallas, "first, a judge held Dallas County District Attorney Craig Watkins in contempt for failing to testify about the planned prosecution of oil her Albert Hill III."
Additionally, the FBI and federal prosecutors have been looking into Watkins' handling of the case.
As reported by CBS News 11 Dallas, "Russell Wilson, who heads the DA’s special fields bureau, defends their office's actions."
DA Watkins is learning the hard way about failing to heed the first rule of politics in the City of Dallas, which is: "Don’t mess with Big D's Hunt Family."
