Obama's Half-Brother: Alleged Islamist-Militant Wife Beater Print E-mail
by Tom McGregor    Mon, Mar 4, 2013, 05:02 AM

Abow Malik.jpgThere’s more drama for the Obama family, as President Barack's half-brother, Roy Abong’o (Malik Obama), is standing for election in Kenya and dismissing allegations of wife beating as "a matter of interpretation." He had married 12 wives and accused of seducing young school girls.

According to the Daily Mail of London, "on the broiling shores of Lake Victoria, a man in Islamic garb is making a politician’s sales pitch to a group of baffled villagers and the resident witch doctor – a wild-eyed character with green and pink parrot feathers in his hair. He is pontificating on an oddly familiar theme: a time for change."

Malik Obama is campaigning to become the next governor of Siaya County with a population of a million people.  If elected, he will earn a salary that would be nearly the same as his brother Barack's White House income. His other perks include a $100,000 retirement bonus, a car, chauffeur, VIP travel and bodyguard for life.

As reported by the Mail, "as he addresses crowds, his followers hand out leaflets featuring photos of him sitting in the White House with his half-brother."

His campaign leaflet says, "Malik Obama has international connections which can attract investments to build factories and manufacturing industries. Malik Obama is a new leader who will bring new direction to our country."
