The BBC News reports that, "beer drinkers in the US have filed a $5m lawsuit accussing Anheuser-Busch of watering down its beer." The lawsuits were filed in California, Pennsylvania and other states. The alleged beer drinking victims claim that they had been cheated out of the alcohol that gets disclosed on beer labels. According to the BBC, "the suit involves 10 Anheuser-Busch beers including Budweiser and Michelob." Anheuser-Busch inBev are calling the accusations "completely false," and announced in a statement that "our beers are in full compliance with labeling laws." Some beer drinkers are no longer saying, "this Bud’s for you," instead they are suing Budweiser for selling water-down beer. They contend that Anheuser-Busch is watering down beer and intentionally mislabeling its alcohol content.
