According to the Hill, “House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (d-Calif.) said Thursday that she opposes a cut in congressional pay because it would diminish the dignity of lawmakers’ jobs.” Pelosi told reporters in the Capitol that, “I don’t think we should do it; I think we should respect the work we do. I think it’s necessary for us to have the dignity of the job that we have rewarded.” As reported by the Hill, “the remarks were given in the context of the looming sequester that would force across-the-board cuts impacting most federal offices, which include Congress. Since lawmakers are nowhere near a deal to avoid those cuts, federal agencies are considering ways to absorb them with minimal damage to programs and personnel.” Pelosi’s husband is a wealthy real-estate developer. written by Patattack , February 19, 2013 As we are all expected to buckle down, accept tax hikes and budgets cuts, we should be aware that her "worshipness", in all her pathetic, repugnant patrician glory, deserves a raise while we pay for her 1/2 year attendance and cushy job...? I cant even write what I want to happen to this woman. Absolutely dispicable.. hint..french revolution :) Write comment

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D.-Ca.) contends that everyone in Congress deserves a pay raise, since it would be American taxpayers’ way to show “dignity” for their elected officials.
