| Greens Ban Donations to Democrats over Keystone Pipeline |

According to the Houston Chronicle, "how hot is the controversial Keystone Pipeline controversy getting? The Sierra Club is – for the first time in its history – going to engage in civil disobedience on Feb. 17 in Washington D.C., which is also a day that greenies predict will be 'the largest climate rally in history.'" Gov. Dave Heineman has already approved the pipeline's route through his state on Tuesday. President Michael Brune of the Sierra Club announced that the San Francisco-headquartered club would "for the first time in our 120-year history … be engaging in peaceful civil disobedience to help stop the dirty and destructive Keystone XL tar sands pipeline. We’re all in!" As reported by the Houston Chronicle, "now, club officials point out that the Feb. 17 rally is separate from the act of civil disobedience, which they are not releasing information about." A major Obama donor, Susie Tompkins, pledges to stop donating to Democrats until they plug up the Keystone Pipeline and ban fracking drilling.
