According to the BBC News, "France's military aim in Mali is its 'total reconquest,' French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian has said." He told French television, "we will not leave any pockets." As reported by the BBC, "France has sent in 2,000 troops to help Malian forces fight Islamist militants who now control the northern half of the country." Mr. Le Drian announced the former Islamist stronghold of Diabaly had not yet been retaken, despite that militants retreated from the town two days ago. Apparently, France intends to enact a 75% tax on French millionaires to launch a new colonial system to take over a number of countries in Africa. The country will first colonize Mali and expand elsewhere in the continent.
