For the past few days, jihadists from all over the Middle East have launched a barrage of bombings at Israel in anxious anticipation that the United Nations may soon seize control of diplomacy in the Arab region, leaving the Israeli government without support from the West.
According to the Houston Chronicle, “a rocket launched from the Gaza Strip has struck the yard of a house in southern Israel following an overnight lull in cross-border exchanges of fire.”
Mickey Rosenfeld, a police spokesman, says no one was wounded during the explosion.
As reported by the Houston Chronicle, “earlier, Israeli aircraft struck three militant sites in Gaza, responding to recent rocket barrages.”
The Israeli military claims that more than 110 rockets have struck Israel since Saturday.
