He informed a crowd of 1,200 people at Lakewood High School that a GOP campaign ad claiming Jeep would move jobs out of Ohio was "pernicious," and another sign that Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is trying to win the state. According to Fox News, "the gaffe-prone Biden said the ad claims, "President Clinton bankrupted Chrysler so that Italians could buy it to ship jobs overseas to China." Also when speaking to an audience in Ohio, he said TV ads "here in Iowa."
