Sandy Turns into Obama’s Katrina Print E-mail
by Tom McGregor    Thu, Nov 1, 2012, 08:46 PM
Action Sandy.jpgChaos ensues amidst recovery efforts in New York City. On Thursday, frustration and panic is rising three days after Super storm Sandy struck. Traffic jams are blocking bridges, large crowds wait for buses into Manhattan and rage is reigning supreme at gas stations.

Pretty soon New Yorkers may start chanting, “Bring Back Rudy” Giuliani. Recovery efforts are starting to resemble Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts in New Orleans. Perhaps, President Barack Obama is not looking so presidential after all.

The Houston Chronicle quotes Michael Tomeo, who boarded a bus to Philadelphia with his 4-year-old son, as saying, “it’s dirty and it’s getting a little crazy down there. It just feels like you wouldn’t want to be out at night. Everything’s pitch dark. I’m tired of it, big-time.”

Bus riots are also erupting. Passengers try to storm into buses while bus drivers are fighting back

The Houston Chronicle reports that, “with the electricity out and gasoline supplies scarce, many gas stations across the New York area remained closed, and stations that were open drew long lines of cars that spilled onto roads.”

In all honesty, this racist blog needs to be shut down! George Bush and the GOP show disdain for the People of New Orleans, and they know they dropped the ball. Funny thing here, Know one expected a Hurricane to turn the tables in this election. A hurricane that showed Americans how much the Federal Government is needed in the mist of catastrophic disasters. President Obama acted as a Commander in Chief and quickly let the State of New Jersey Know, we are here to support you. Bush failed terribly. One thing for sure, the trend established by POTUS is hardly to be reversed in four days. So start writing about something more tangible like, how Romney blew his chance by flip flopping and lying to the American people.

Today’s report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed that the economy added 171,000 jobs last month, beating analysts’ expectations. The private sector added 184,000 jobs (offset by some public sector losses), making this the 32nd consecutive month that the private sector has grown.

Overall, even accounting for the horrific month for jobs that was January 2009, the private sector has added 759,000 jobs overall under Obama. At this same point in the George W. Bush administration — October 2004 — the private sector had lost more than 1 million jobs. This chart shows the difference:

During the entirety of the Bush administration, the private sector ended up losing nearly 650,000 jobs.

The only reason that the unemployment rate did not spike during Bush’s first term is that the public sector so derided by conservatives was rapidly adding jobs. If the public sector had added jobs at the historical pace under Obama, rather than hemorrhaging hundreds of thousands of jobs, the unemployment rate would be under 7 percent today.

Data compiled by Jane Farrell.

Mr. Green is dazzled by the misinformation sent out by his Leftist leader. The "photo op" president has done nothing but throw this country into the biggest flux in history!

His handling of the Libyian affair is nothing short of treason!
