The EU seeks to abolish sovereignty of European nations and create a single government to rule over the continent. It contends that bureaucrats not elected officials should take over the reins of power.
The BBC News reports that, “EU Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso has called for the EU to evolve into a ‘federation of nation-states.’”
Mr. Barrosso addressed the EU Parliament in Strasbourg to argue that it’s necessary to combat corrupt London banks by taking them over. He claims his solution would resolve the continent’s economic crisis.
According to the BBC, “he said he believed Greece would be able to stay in the eurozone if it stood by its commitments. Mr. Barrosso also set out plans for a single supervisory mechanism for all banks in the eurozone.”
He calls for the European Central Bank to gain greater powers of oversight and regulation of Europe’s 6,000 banks under his proposal.

S. & where it is heading with executive orders from the president to avoid congress, the federal reserve, as well as the judiciary! The world is losing because of such foolishness!
Here is one that hopes this "hair-brained scheme fails!
