Audacity of Failure in Libya Print E-mail
by Tom McGregor    Wed, Sep 12, 2012, 05:59 PM
Am Stevens.jpgPresident Barack Obama has assailed GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney for supposedly 'immature notions' on foreign policy. Yet, Obama couldn’t even protect the U.S. envoy to Libya from getting killed by Muslim militants in Benghazi.

Fox News reports that, “the attack started with little warning. The U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi began taking fire at 10 p.m. Tuesday night. Within minutes, the attackers were in – firing inside the building.”

U.S. personnel couldn’t even take control of the premises until hours later. Later they discovered the body of U.S. ambassador Christopher Stevens.

According to Fox News, “these details and others emerged late Wednesday, as U.S. officials sought to reconstruct what happened in those chaotic and violent hours in eastern Libya the night before.”

The attacks were considered a coordinated effort timed for September 11.

Romney needed to say what he said! The U. S. need not apologize to anyone, but should warn Libya as well as Egypt that we will not stand by for murder of its citizens!

We should immediately cut off all aid to both countries as well as stop the foolishness of forgiving Egypt's debt! These guys are "thugs" & should be treated as such! Obama is a "paper tiger" & the world knows that! His policy re the Arab Spring is a royal joke! Remember that in November...if we live that long!
