|Oxford Students Gone Wild!|

The idea that Oxford University in England is a haven for scholars and the global elite seems to be nothing more than myth. Oxford appears to be just an ordinary party school for spoiled rich kids.
The Daily Mail of London reports that, “a degree in decadence: The Oxbridge student clubs that make Cameron’s Bullington chums look like the Girl Guides.”
An alumnus recalls his days at Oxford, “curry-throwing, vomiting, broken glass, incoherent drunkenness and the parading of newly-elected captain of boats naked around a city center super market. Ah! What happy memories it all brings back of my undergraduate days at Oxford.”
According to the Daily Mail, “traditions and rituals vary, from drinking club to drinking club, but the aim is always the same: to get heinously drunk, to behave quite appallingly and to show that the spirit of Evelyn Waugh’s Bright Young Things did not die with Vile bodies and Brideshead Revisited.”
The most notorious Oxford society seems to be the Bullingdon Club.
