As the world is coming to grips with wars in the Middle East, Ebola plague in Africa, a debt crisis in Europe and the upcoming US Presidential election, it’s time for Americans to stand up and debate the really important issue of the day. Is changing Snoop Dogg’s new stage name to Snoop Lion a good marketing concept?
According to the Houston Chronicle, “Snoop Dogg changes name to Snoop Lion. Rapper Snoop Dogg has documented his first foray into reggae in a new film.” The hip-hop tycoon stand ready to launch ‘Reincarnated,’ his first reggae tour, under the name Snoop Lion and he captures his shocking name change in a film for a new documentary. As reported by the Houston Chronicle, “the film, also called Reincarnated, includes footage of his studio sessions in Jamaica and will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in September.” Snoop Lion said, “there comes a point where you say I done it all, or there isn’t much more to do.
