State Sen. Dan Patrick (R-Houston) stopped by the RightOnline booth at the 2012 Republican State Convention in Fort Worth. Patrick discussed education policy. In particular, he discussed upcoming school finance litigation, the need for school districts to avoid building "Taj Mahal" buildings, and the advantages of school choice. Patrick also endorsed Texas Workforce Commission Member Tom Pauken's call for more emphasis on vocational education in public schools.
