Break Our Laws, You’re a Mexican, No Problem! Print E-mail
by James Reza    Mon, Jun 25, 2012, 01:23 PM

There’s a song that I sing by Kenny Chesney titled, “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem” which reminds me of the Obama Administration’s executive order to let Mexican’s who have broken our immigration laws to stay in our country without the fear of being deported if they are of a certain age.  Many think that President Obama with his dismal economy record faces quite a challenge for the Presidency in November.  Thus, he rolled out his executive order to let Mexicans stay, work, go to school, and enjoy the fruits of our Nation to shore up the Hispanic vote.  Meanwhile, others from different parts of the world who want to immigrate here legally have to wait in line and pony up some money to legally migrate here.  Were I an Italian, a black from Africa, etc. wanting to come legally to the U.S., I would be incensed at President Obama’s lax enforcement of our immigrations laws towards Mexicans.

One has to wonder why President Obama and other politicians from both sides of the aisle court Hispanics, just because they are growing in number.  What both major political parties fail to realize is that Hispanics have a dismal showing at the ballot box.

The population of the United States by race according to the 2000 to 2010 census states that we have 308,745,538 U.S. citizens.  There are 37,685,848 African Americans, and 50,477,694 Hispanic or Latino and 196,817,552 White.  In the 2008 presidential election 131 million people voted.  76.3% of voters were white, 12.1% were black and 7.4% were Hispanic.  Though the white share of voters was the lower ever, it still was higher than the 65.8% white share of the total U.S. population.  Were I President Obama, I think I’d be courting white voters instead of Hispanics.  Blacks, who vote more than Hispanics are already in the hip pocket of President Obama and the Democrat Party, so he could care less if Mexicans take jobs away from Blacks who’s unemployment rate is the highest in 27 years and runs around 16.7%.  What a friend blacks have in Obama don’t they?

A few months ago, a friend, Judge Manuel Valdez (D) called me.  Aware that the Judge was a candidate for the new District 33 congressional seat created in the Dallas/Fort Worth in a heavy minority area, he in a despairing voice told me of the lies he was told by those pledging him their support. The Judge told me that those who initially promised their support were also running for the same congressional seat.  One such politician he mentioned was ex-State Senator Domingo Garcia from Dallas who was instrumental in drawing up the congressional district to favor a minority, possibly a Hispanic to win the congressional seat.  Having helped Judge Valdez a lot when I lived in his district in the 80s I sensed he wanted me to help him in his campaign.  However, I told the Judge that I lived out of his district and there was no way that I a Republican would help a Democrat. Knowing that Judge Valdez, is a Catholic and a minister of communion at his church I asked him, “Judge, how in the world can you belong to a political party who’s leader, the President of the United States, is assaulting the very fabric of our Catholic beliefs in demanding abortion insurance mandates to Catholic institutions?  And, favors same sex marriage, which not only our church, but other denominations as well find it against God’s teachings?” The Judge then told me something I found rather interesting, he said, “James, when I tell Democrats that I’m against abortion, they are appalled!”

Keeping an eye on the outcome of the 33 congressional District race I was surprised when Judge Valdez, a popular political figure in Fort Worth came in fourth among 11 Democrat candidates from Dallas, Fort Worth, Irving and Burleson.  I was also surprised that more Tarrant Country residents turned out in greater numbers than their Dallas counterparts.  It is estimated that there are 469,456 residents in the new 33rd congressional district, 62.3% Hispanic and 17.8 % black, however, Marc Veasey, a state representative, is black and garnered more votes that Domingo Garcia his run-off opponent.  Both Garcia and Veasey will square off in a run-off race on July 31.  Another bit of surprise to me is that Mr. Veasey spent around $200,000 in the primary, while Mr. Garcia spent more than twice that at $486,607 after loaning his campaign $600,000.  Earlier in this piece, I stated why I’m puzzled why both major parties are courting Hispanics.  Let me explain why I made that statement, in Dallas in a heavy Hispanic precinct of 6,900 registered voters, only 1,000 voted!  And Mr. Garcia won by only 27 votes.  In the new 33rd congressional district, which boasts a whopping 61.3% Hispanic representation, many do not take into account these Hispanics’ voting requirements such as citizenship. Meaning, many could be illegal aliens.  Which makes one have to wonder and maybe understand why President Obama passed his new immigration mandate to maybe in the not to distant future let new Mexican immigrants register to vote.

As President Obama boasts of what he’s done for Mexican illegal immigrants with his new immigration mandate in recent meetings with American Hispanic groups, Mexican immigrants continue to commit horrible crimes in high numbers in our country.  One such crime occurred recently at Camp County, Texas, where a Mexican national, Ignacio Saldana-Rivera sexually assaulted a six-month family member.  Saldana had been arrested for assault family violence and interfering with an emergency phone call.  Authorities say this stemmed from the infant’s mother calling 911 to report the assault and Saldana allegedly assaulted the woman to keep her from reporting him.  After an investigation, the Camp County Sheriff’s Office deemed the woman’s claims to be true and charged Saldana with aggravated sexual assault of a child.  After a thorough investigation Saldana is being investigated as to having assaulted a second child.  Yes, my fellow Americans President Obama is such a kind soul in letting animals like Saldana an illegal from Mexico to roam our streets so he can get Hispanic votes.  Well my friends, this is one American Hispanic that will not be swayed with this illegal alien mandate nonsense and I pray you won’t be either!

Add today's anoucement
that the Obama regime would ignore the Supreme Court's decision on Arizona.

This guy needs to go in Jan 2013!

I believe "ALL" you "HATERS" got hit with a hammer on your head.
In the first place, nobody can ignore the laws of our country. Especially after the SC ruled on them.

Secondly, the SC struck down most of the Arizona law and ruled that states cannot over-ride our country's laws.

That's the way they interpreted our constitution. Live with it.

Vote the way you want, but don't cry and blame others for "YOUR" blunders when things go wrong.

One more thing:

The illegal alien, MS-13 gangbanging, pregnant-woman-assaulting, multiple murderer, Edwin Ramos, has been sentenced to life in California prison for slaughtering three members of the Bologna family with an AK-47 in broad daylight on the streets of San Francisco almost four years ago on June 22, 2008.
A repeat offender, Ramos was never turned over to the INS or ICE for deportation. Besides the murders of the Bolognas, Ramos is known to have participated in other violent assaults. And, as a member of Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), it is a sure bet that he committed many other crimes that he was never linked to.
Who would you blame for Ramos staying in America since 1999?
President George W. Bush (43)
California Governor Gray Davis
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger
San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown?

Don't try to pull a
Michael Jackson on us.
We know who you are.

Pete retorted:
"Except for the Federal Government as noted by the Supreme Court dissent."
Supreme Court dissent? If that happens, then there was a different issue brought up that changed their minds. the SC rule becomes the law of the land. Only they can change it. But only if someone brings it up again and they (SC) agrees.

"The U.S. Supreme Court is the highest court in the nation. Its decisions set precedents that all other courts then follow, and no lower court can ever supersede a Supreme Court decision. In fact, "NOT EVEN" Congress or the president can change, reject or ignore a Supreme Court decision."

"American law operates under the doctrine of stare decisis, which means that prior decisions should be maintained -- even if the current court would otherwise rule differently -- and that lower courts must abide by the prior decisions of higher courts. The idea is based on a belief that government needs to be relatively stable and predictable."

One more thing P;
If everyone interpreted the constitution as you do, then perhaps we would have different laws.
I don't really agree with some of the laws, but we must follow them or face prosecution.
For instance, I don't agree with all of the health plan put forth by our government. But I "DO" agree that we must provide health care for all Americans. And that congress should work together to accomplish it. As for the cost? Get the taxes back where they were when my boy Bill was in office.
We should find out at the end of today how the SC ruled on health care. I believe it will be some kind of start to care for our citizens. If not, back to the drawing board.
Stop hiding behind a fake mask.

Charlie seems to have a basic misunderstanding of how things work. Congress can easily subvert a Supreme Court decision by passing new laws. This has happened many times in our history and in fact if you read the dissents the court is encouraging Congress to change the law. If you don't think this can be over turned wait till January and see what President Romney does.

Does President Obama really care about Hispanics??? Heck no! As James indicated it all about his re-election. Yes, the SC passed Obamacare....but who do you think is exempt from this legislation: I tell you: Mr Obama and his family were specifically exempt, as is all members of Congress......and all of the autoworker unions (voters), Harry Ried and his friends in Nevada, the "Corn-Husker Kick back" in Nebraska, and on and on and on. WHY, I ask you Charlie, Why is the President, his family, his contributors, close associates all exempt from this "wonderful" piece of...of...of.. legislation? Why is Social Security and Medicare good enough for all of us, yet it is not good enough for the President or Congress? Why Charlie? Are you paying attention? Where is the "transparcy" that he promised? Where are the jobs that he promised? Where is anything that he promised? He condemn George Bush for a $3 Trillion dollare deficit and he has added $5 more trillion. Oh yes, Charlie, your darling really, really loves Hispanics....and if you believe that there is no hope for you, Amigo. Are any of us better off than we were 3 1/2 years ago? Is the country and better? Where? Point out his "accomplishments" because I missed it!:-( And, the Hispanic leaders/politicians in this country sucker the Hispanics just as much or more. In Vietnam, in Croatia, in Nepal the 2nd language is English. It is a travesty of the highest magnitude that Hispanic kids can go to public schools and not speak fluent English after 12 years...VOTE FOR ME...VOTE FOR ME...Yes, sure, you can be a "citizen" even if you are....can I say that word....illegal! Sure, suck up all of the goodies that hard working people pay for with their taxes...suck it all up until you suck the life out of this country. My immigrant parents came here legally, learned to speak English, insisted that all of their children speak English..."..you'll get a better job..." my father assured. And is was absolutely correct! So Amigos...go on and pretend that Obama is your savior all the while that he is selling you down the river of total collapse and despair. I hope that you bleeding heart liberals are there to see and to experience first hand the terrible and painful future this sick, satanic creature is sure to inflict upon all of us. He is an Evil, Evil man. He does not care for Hispanics, he does not care of Whites, he does not even care for Black people. Obama is a cancer, a cancer that is spreading to ill-informed voters of every definition...and these are just the "nice" things that I have to say about him, Charlie. Wait until I get warmed up! God Bless you Liberals...because you can be certain that Mr. Obama won't bless you!

Congress can never overthrow the SC. If congress passes any law, and someone doesn't agree with it takes it before the SC, and the SC agrees to hear it, the SC can strike it down. They're the "LAST WORD."
But hey, even the SC can disagrees as we do. when have you seen a 9 to 0 ruling in the SC.
They ruled for "OBAMA CARES" yesterday.

I was kind of surprised. But I was "SHOCKED" at the deciding vote.
I don't know how we could really accomplish that goal. but I really believe that as Americans and human beings, we should have health care for every soul in our country.

Holy Guacamole Joe. Why would you believed that the president and congress need health care. They have health care for all their lives. As I see it, the new law is for those who cannot afford it and "DON'T WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT.."

Why are you fuming Joe? I don't know about savoring, but we may be able to provide health care for those who are out in the cold today.

And stop nit-picking, illegal immigration has been with us forever. As a matter of fact, you and your hero Reza come from immigrants. legal "OR" not.

Wait till you get warmed up?????" Hell you're already burning up.
And president Obama isn't the one who blesses us. You need to get your act together in order for you to be blessed.

Our county hoapitals are available to those who cannot afford healthcare. Our laws are such in this country that an emergency room cannot refuse care to anyone whether they can pay or not. For this many of our healthcare facilities and emergency rooms are closing due to bankruptcy. Our country is bankrupt, just not admitting it; and, Charlie would have us indebt ourselves further. It is a matter of priority, Charlie; and. the fact that alcohol, beer, smokes, drugs, lottery tickets and obesity run rampant says volumes as to where healthcare resides within the system of priorities for the irresponsible. We enslave ourselves because we are so willing to feed those who are not predisposed to work and to place personal health above the pleasures of poverty.

"Charlie would have us indebt ourselves further."

You're not paying attention, who ever you are. You negative dudes never identify yourselves. Cluck, cluck.
I have continually asked all of you to get our taxes back where they were before Dubya cut taxes for the very rich so that we can help our country pay our debts.
Not all hospitals are free, You have to go to a county hospital if you don't want a huge debt.
However, the doctors oath states that they “WILL” take care of “ALL” patients.
Do you really believe that poverty is a pleasure? That's what's wrong with you dudes; lying through your teeth.
If you believe all those things are the problem, then why don't you try to make alcohol, beer, smokes, drugs, lottery tickets, and obesity unlawful. I take prescribed drugs now.
Illegal drugs are the biggest problem for our borders, and y'all make a fuss about immigration. If you buy illegal drugs, you're the problem.
Compared to those who want to work, there are very few who are shysters/panhandlers. And yet you don't want to feed them or help them when they're sick. The real shysters are the rich.
Why don't you just adopt Hitler's strategy and kill them all.

One more thing;
In medicine, newly qualified doctors say the Hippocratic Oath as a promise to preserve life and act in the best interest of the patient.
(It's been said that the oath was written by a Greek physician in the 4th century BC called Hippocrates.)
However, we all know that today it’s more about making lots of money.
I’m scheduled for surgery next week, and today I got a call about my insurance.
I have one of the best medical insurance you can get.
I’ll let you know how it all went later, only if there were any unforeseen problems.

The original article pointed out problems or flaws with our current government and policies in effect concerning Americans. Each one has added their comments and further expanded the scope of the article by introducing other problems like illegal immigration, voting, welfare, illegal drug use and healthcare.

I prefer to discuss a topic to find a solution rather than just name call and insult someone because they disagree with you. I have not read any solutions being offered for the problems mentioned which means that they will continue on as problems. Solutions have to be formed and acted upon to change society and America.

So, I have a question about needs? Many feel like it is a right and every American should have healthcare when and if an illness occurs, that they should have access (rights) to doctors, surgeries, hospitals and rehab to extend their life.

What about the unborn who are aborted in the USA? Do they have access or rights to extend their life?

In discussing needs such as an occasional illness and treatment at a local hospital that happens randomly and infrequently, what about the daily needs of Americans? Jobs, Housing, Food, Poverty?

Shouldn't Americans have access or rights to a job to support their family, or putting a roof over their head to keep out of the elements, or daily food for your family so that your children or your spouse goes to bed hungry? How about a government plan to rebuild America and reduce or eliminate poverty?

All of us have mentioned problems that need to be addressed and solved with ideas and actions. As my Dad use to say, "are you going to put your shoulder into it, or just stand there and complain?"

I think that America is a great country! Over the past 40 years or so a lot of companies and entire industries have shut down or moved over-seas for "profits." That trend has caused Americans to lose their jobs, their income and their livestyles. They are no longer the bread winner for their family. They entire family is at risk for further hardships and turmoil which ultimately affects society down the road.

After a while with all the unemployment who can afford to buy products or services from the companies that moved over-seas? What will happen to corporate "profits" then? What affect will unemployment have on America down the road? 10 -20 more years then bankruptcy?

It is time to start rebuilding families and cities and with local jobs and industries. Then we can begin to address the needs mentioned above by our friends, neighbors and fellow Americans.

I am not fighting against you, because we are all in this together to help America. If we don't do it, then who will? Our enemies? I seriously doubt it! We must stick together and solve America's problems!
