President Barack Obama has faced a tough couple of weeks. The economy is doing poorly; his poll numbers are dropping and Europe remains on the brink of another financial crisis. Romney is outpacing him on the fundraising trail. Team Obama has entered a panic mode stage.
The Boston Globe said, “next came a more pronounced gaffe: Obama’s statement at a press conference that ‘the private sector is doing fine.’ Panic can make anyone say crazy things, but blurting out irrational statements isn’t exactly ideal for a president of the United States.” Aides attempted to minimize the damage, but it exposed Obama’s Jobs Bill as nothing more than a ‘tax and spend’ bill, while bailing out state and local governments. According to the Boston Globe, “panic-driven responses aren’t just silly or embarrassing; they can be dangerous too. With no good economic news in sight, the White House has embarked on a mission to burnish the president’s national-security credentials. In their desperation to write a compelling narrative for their candidate, Obama’s operatives appear to have disclosed highly classified information.” To read the entire article from the Boston Globe, link here: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
