The Nobel Peace Prize Winner President Barack Obama, is facing a major drop in his popularity throughout the world, since he’s perceived as an instigator of wars and diplomatic conflicts.
According to the BBC News, “international approval of US President Barack Obama’s foreign policy has dropped sharply during his term in office, a Pew Research survey suggests.”
Among the 21 nations surveyed, the biggest drop in approval – from 57% to 27% - was seen in China, the Global Attitudes Project discloses.
As reported by the BBC News, “most respondents in almost all countries opposed U.S. drone strikes. Despite these numbers, confidence in Mr. Obama remains high among U.S. allies, especially in Europe.”
President Obama continues to enjoy high popularity rating with the United Nations Human Rights Council, whose member countries include: Venezuela, Argentina, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Iran, Syria, North Korea and Cuba.
