Were they shouting Dew or Boo? Print E-mail
by Will Lutz    Fri, Jun 8, 2012, 12:19 PM

At the Republican State Convention in Fort Worth, Gov. Rick Perry talked about the need for more conservatives in the US Senate, and gave GOP US Senate candidate and current Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst (whom Perry has endorsed) as an example of what America needs.

The crowd reacted spontaneously. Many reporters felt that supporters of Dewhurst's opponent Ted Cruz were booing the lieutenant governor. Gov. Rick Perry, when asked afterward by reporters, said the convention attendees were saying "Dew," not "Boo." WFAA has posted the raw video. Click here to decide who's right. Why doesn't Perry just hold a Prayer Summit over it? So far that seems to be his only response to every other problem.....
