Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings is struggling to answer questions about how some of his campaign cash somehow ended up in the pockets of Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price, a fellow Democrat.
WFAA Channel 8 News Dallas reports that, “at Dallas City Hall Wednesday, questions – and some accusations – kept coming up related to the FBI investigation of Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price and how some of Mayor Mike Rawlings’ campaign money made its way to Price.” Apparently, former Dallas City Council member Sandra Crenshaw lashed out during the public comment time before Council about the probe’s connection to Mayor Rawlings. She claims that the mayor is being less than honest. She said, “and yet you claim no knowledge of how … no knowledge of the ‘pay to play’ in the southern sector.” According to WFAA, “The FBI alleged in court documents last week that after being paid by the Rawlings campaign, consultant Kathy Nealy funneled some of the funds to Price in exchange for his support of Rawlings’ election last year.” To read the entire article from WFAA Channel 8 News Dallas, link here: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
