A consumer group, Corporate Accountability International, is launching an anti-Trans-fat campaign that will ban McDonald’s playgrounds from Children’s Hospitals nationwide. The organization is hoping President Barack Obama will sign an anti-McDonald’s playgrounds law if he is re-elected to the White House.
The Houston Chronicle reports that, “Corporate Accountability International chided 20 health-care facilities, including the Cleveland Clinic and Houston’s Texas Children’s and Ben Taub hospitals, for having the fast-food chain on their sites.”
In a letter Tuesday, the consumer group may pursue legal action to end their contracts with operators of McDonald’s Playground facilities. They insist that these places of fun for children may tempt them to eat food that is unhealthy.
They demand that McDonald’s “stop fostering a food environment that promotes harm, not health.”
As reported by the Houston Chronicle, “there are 26 McDonald’s restaurants nationwide in hospitals. That’s too many, according to Corporate Accountability International.”

oh hell yes, let's not have anywhere at a HOSPITAL where little kids might play and have fun while their family member is sick or dying....oh let's manage the kids waist line, not his emotional well being!! These liberal a-holes make me sick...they just have to micromanage all aspects of life, while screwing up their own lives totally.
