This week in Texas, gas prices have surged another 7 cents, which is the ninth consecutive week with an increase. The Houston Chronicle reports that, “the weekly AAA Texas price survey released Thursday says the statewide average for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $3.52.”Apparently, the state average is 9 cents below the national average. According to the Houston Chronicle, “the most expensive gasoline in Texas is in the Dallas-Fort Worth area at $3.58.
